The small island state of Malta is only about 2 hours flight away. The islands are known for their rocky landscape, the rich flora and the stunning coasts.
It enjoys a subtropical Mediterranean climate with warm dry summers and mild winters. Bathing season starts in May and goes until October. In Malta and Gozo beautiful sandy beaches but also rocky coves can be found. The spring months of March and April are very popular with hikers, the islands flourished in splendid green with many colorful flowers.
There are rich, cultural events including concerts, exhibitions, museums and historic sides. Malta offers a vibrant nightlife, where as Gozo is the rather quiet and idyllic part of the state. The islands are small but offer plenty of variety.
