Paphos has evolved over the years into a quite lively place and was able to maintain despite all its natural charm. The old Paphos is located a few kilometers from the coast, the tourist area, Kato Paphos, is situated below, and has developed directly on the coast where you will find a number of shops, taverns, nice cafes and international restaurants, and ultimately the beautiful harbor. There are some excavations in the immediate vicinity, which can be easily reached on foot, also buses run approximately every half hour between Kato Paphos and Paphos and Coral Bay. The coast in Paphos is partly rocky with beautiful bays and beaches, the most famous is probably the Coral Bay beach, about 12 kilometers outside of Paphos. But there are many more small coves along the coast. The countryside around Paphos is very green and mountainous and it is cultivated with wine. The near coastal area is flat and here mainly banana as well as citrus, walnut and olive plantations can be found. Our Paphos villas are situated outside of Paphos, mainly in the villages along the coast, where you find more tranquility and peace but also being quickly in the bustling tourist centers. Coral Bay has also become one of the most important tourist places in Paphos area because of its beautiful beaches and in addition to some hotels, some bars, cafes, taverns and different restaurants. In our Coral Bay holiday villas, we have paid particular attention to a good position, so that there is a certain degree of privacy and sea view. Paphos has all year round season. Although some taverns and shops are closed during the winter months, most of them remain opened. Months as November and March are becoming more and more popular, as pleasant temperatures, even for swimming in the sea, can be expected.
