The port town of Chania is located in the northwest of the island of Crete, Chania Airport is 12 km away on Akrotiri peninsula. The old town of Chania is located around the Old Port. The buildings are close together along the harbor and house restaurants, cafes and shops. Many buildings have been restored over the years, traditional and modern are brought together. Small roads run through the old town, you can stroll for hours in the small shops for souvenirs, jewelry and fancy clothes from local designers. There are many small hotels and excellent taverns in the old quarter. Just a few meters outside the walls you will find more shops and modern cafes. Chania is a vibrant, exciting city. The traffic is chaotic and parking places are rare, if you have fought through the traffic that passes in 2-4 lanes and reached the harbor, you will not like to leave again. West of the city there is a long sandy beach, where you find sun loungers, parasols and pedal boats for rent. Our Chania villas are outside the city.
